Hi my names Ryan, im 25 and live in llanharan. I Have been bouldering for about 2 years now but only recently taken the leap from indoor to outdoor. I can climb between v3-v5 indoors depending on the type of problem so i am still fairly inexperienced compared to some. The reason for requesting an account to help update the site is as follows: As a newbie to outdoor bouldering this website and guide has been my go to resource and is a massive help to anyone who doesn't know where to boulder outdoors. I have only visited Ogmore by sea currently as its local to me and i havnt had chance to try other places - but hoping to go to white rocks later this week. The difficulty i found moving to outdoor is it is a lot lot harder than the indoor problems, even of the same grade. I have climbed down Ogmore on a number of times now and the majority of the routes / areas i have found and climbed are not documented on the site and are ideal for people new to outdoor bouldering to get some experience and confidence in making the transition. I take photos of all the routes i climb but am not experienced enough to grade them, i could estimate based on my ability but would only be a guess of course. I think this site is very good but i check regularly and it doesn't seem to get updated that often and i think a lot of it could have changed considerably since being detained. I been approached a few times whilst down Ogmore by people asking where certain areas are (all carrying printouts from this site). I think that everyone who uses the site should contribute information as its an excellent resource and everyone can benefit from it, we all climb the same areas so why not help out. Any info I uploaded i am happy to send to a more experienced member for them to review first. Let me know what you think. Thanks
